The biggest question we all have about Nelly and Ashanti would have to be: are they or aren’t they?
Ashanti recently held her album release party for her new project Braveheart at Prive in Atlanta, and though her album is amazing, it was the PDA moments with her on-again-off-again boyfriend that set the blogosphere ablaze.
The Princess of Hip-Hop & R&B was seen blowing kisses at her phone as Nelly Face-Timed her on her big night!
The two have been a rumored couple for about a decade now, and though they’ve recently alluded to having been in a relationship, neither have ever really confirmed.
She recently did an interview with the Breakfast Club where she talked about her previous relationship with Nelly:
I will say that, there was a space where it was bad. It was really bad. Are we cool? Yeah. We’re okay.
When a man is hurt and a woman is hurt, I think men deal with hurt differently. I feel like we handle our emotions differently. There were a lot of things said and done publicly that should not have been. There was a foundation set and those things shouldn’t have happened. We both definitely made mistakes in a lot of things. But I will say things do come full circle. [He] is a really good person, he has a really good heart. You know?
We’ll just have to see how this all plays out in the end.
