The Daily Grind Video

This wasn’t what SXSW 2014 was supposed to be for Mason Endres.

The 18-year-old was having a good time Thursday morning when a man in a car plowed through the audience, killing two people in the process.

Mason was one of the 23 hurt in the incident and subsequently, she missed seeing one of her favorite bands, Jared and the Mill.

This couldn’t stand.

So to make up for the missed show, Jared and the Mill performed a private concert for Mason while she was in the hospital.

In the video, Mason, who suffered a cervical spine fracture, a broken nose, a broken femur and more, could be seen singing along as Jared and the Mill played.
