Missed SXSW? Can’t make it to Coachella? Don’t fret!

You can still attend a hot music festival — one that will actually improve your health, rather than just your taste in music.

The Broccoli City Music Festival will take place on April 19th in Washington D.C. and on May 3rd in Los Angeles. It will be more than just drinking, smoking, or getting wasted while witnessing the craziness of live musical performances with your friends. Along with the music acts at the all day festival, the BC fest will feature a free fitness zone with yoga and cardio-led classes, massages and acupuncture sessions, live art installations and food and fashion vendors.

We know from studies that urban communities are impacted by environmental degradation far more than suburban communities – negatively impacting food access, public health, environmental advancement, and economic mobility.

Broccoli City intends to meet our communities where they are. They are shifting the culture through music, celebrating small businesses and showing what a healthy lifestyle can be.

While helping the communities and providing some R&R for its attendees, the Broccoli City festival is still the place to be just for the music. Hosted by style icon Va$htie (who will also be DJing), the awesome lineup includes: Cam’Ron, JoJo, Just Blaze, Dizzy Wright, JMSN, and so many more great artists.

More artists will be announced soon, and you can find all information on the festival on its official website, bcfestival.com.
