Drake’s attempting to switch up the program right now.
On the heels of his Johnny Manziel-inspired track “Draft Day,” Drake releases a slow tempo banger titled, “Days In The East.”
Drake had been filmed performing the song on the last days of his “Would You Like A Tour?” in Europe. The PARTYNEXTDOOR and 40-produced song is filled with subtle Rihanna references, and even samples of her Unapologetic ballad “Stay.”
“Remember one night I went to Erykah Badu’s house/ she made tea for me/ We talked about love and what life could really be for me/ She said ‘when that sh*t is real you just know’/ And I was thinking about ‘cha you already know,” raps Drizzy.
It’s clear “ya boy” is completely in love with the Bajan beauty. Take a listen to Drake’s latest offering below.
