The cast of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is all over the country dishing deets about their upcoming film.

In the latest installment of the comic book action flick, Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy struggle with keeping the promise that Peter made her father in the first film. This leads to both Peter and Gwen facing some rather tough decisions while Spider-Man tries to save the world.

Spider-Man stars (and real life couple) Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield chatted with GlobalGrind’s BlogXilla about everything from GEDs to having their phones die at the worst time. They also touched on the arc of Emma’s character Gwen Stacy. If you read the comics you know the deal, if not… It’s about to go down.

Emma also talked about her high school years, revealing she didn’t attend school with kids her own age.

“I was home schooled and I got my GED. So my graduation was like….I was given a certificate at the mall on top of the food court. I was in the 99th percentile for English, but I was like very low for math. But I’m really proud I’ve got my GED. My good enough degree.”

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters May 2. Check out the full interview for more from Emma and Andrew.
