One of the most infectious songs of the year just got a major flip.

DJ Cassidy’s hit “Calling All Hearts,” which features Robin Thicke and Jessie J, was just remixed by the great Swizz Beatz, who added his own flair to the song.

While the original version had a feel-good disco beat, Swizz brings things back to the modern day by adding some heavy drums. (Think Busta Rhymes’ “Touch It.”)

Speaking on the remix, Cassidy says:

“Producing elaborately orchestrated dance records with legendary musicians from the late 1970s and early 1980s, I always dreamt of Swizz Beatz stripping all the instrumentation down to a bare melody. In this brilliant “reduction,” Swizz replaces Earth Wind & Fire’s, Nile Rodgers’, John “Jr” Robinson’s and Jerry Hey’s live arrangements with his signature raw boom bap. It’s showtime!”
