Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook may know how to clean up on the court, but there’s no doubt he knows how to clean up off it, too.
Westbrook, who is well-known for his extreme fashion sense and his own line of men’s underwear, is getting some special attention from Barneys New York. The high-end retailer is working with the baller on a menswear and accessory collection called Westbrook XO Barneys New York, which is slated to hit stores in July.
The face of the Nike Jordan brand has never been too shy when it comes to the fashion world, telling WWD:
“I’m kind of like a designer. My personal style changes every season.”
Whether a designer or trendsetter, this collection has come at a perfect time for Westbrook, especially after the Thunder lost to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA playoffs. And who knows–shoppers might be in for a big surprise. They could get a collection of Westbrook’s signature printed pants or floral bomber jackets…
