Ed Sheeran has once again proved that gingers got soul.
Only days away from the release of his sophomore album, x, the British songwriter gives us a taste of what’s in store with a new single entitled, “Bloodstream.”
Anticipation has been building behind Ed’s upcoming project, especially since the release of the lead Pharrell-assisted single, “Sing,” and the news that Rick Rubin would be joining in on production.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Sheeran commented, “Rick had an idea of me recording it completely acoustic and then adding instrumentation later.”
One can certainly hear an element of Rubin’s minimalistic production style, which is also due to play a big part in Kanye West‘s next album. Get faded to Sheeran’s addictive new single “Bloodstream” below.
