After teasing us with a few singles off his anticipated album, Tha Carter V, Lil Wayne has confirmed the release date.
Well, sort of.
In a recent interview with MTV, the Young Money Entertainment founder says that he’s done with the album and leans towards the months of August and September for the release month.
“I think it drops in like August or September, something like that.” Wayne tells the interviewer. Wayne also tells us that the next album Da Other Album will drop two months after Tha Carter V releases. So we’ll have a lot to hear from Weezy in the upcoming months.
After hot singles “Believe Me” featuring Drake and “Krazy,” we can’t wait to hear the album that some critics are already calling an instant classic.
