Ladies, listen up: high standards are the wave. At least they are according to Alus.

Buzzing out of New Jersey, 20-year-old Alus has been building a respectable following over the past year. And now she comes to us with a new radio-friendly single with some serious bounce, “Ordinary Girl.”

In the song, Alus demands to be treated with the attention she deserves: “You gotta put in work, baby, work/ If you want it call me first/ Step it up, show your worth or I’m gone.” Deadbeats and basic bros: take the hint, before your lady hears this song.

It’s rare to see a such young fresh talent try to make her way without any high-profile cosigns or features. Alus really is no ordinary girl.
