Chris Brown and Drake recently got together in the studio and planned to reveal their new single this upcoming Monday in Toronto, but because of the law, poor Breezy can’t get into the country. Apparently, Drake had invited Chris to join him on stage at the OVO Fest Monday night. Being denied passage to the country was a big deal due to the fact that it would’ve been the first time both stars perform together.  [TMZ]

The time has come. Teyana Taylor is finally releasing her first album, entitled VII. Six years after making her debut, the Harlem native has set a release date of October 21st for her album VII, released via G.O.O.D Music/Def Jam. She explained the title, adding, “(S.E.V.E.N: 7 is the year of completion) Is everything is finally falling into place, God Is Great.” [Rap-Up]

Atlanta rapper Future has reached a new custody deal with the mother of his 11-year-old son. Future must now pay $2,800 a month in child support. But sources say that won’t affect him much, due to the fact that he earns $50K a month. The new custody deal also plans out who gets the young boy on major national holidays. [TMZ]

Trinidad James took it to Twitter and announced his departure with Def Jam. The “All Gold Everything” rapper was signed with the major record label back in 2012 after his hit song became a viral hit. James tweeted: “I should tell yall. I got dropped by the Label. My Album is now free. If u hear ur beat or verse on it. I hope u want dap cuz i got no money”. Womp. [Miss Info]

18 years after its release, Tupac‘s critically acclaimed album “All Eyez On Me” has finally been certified Diamond by the RIAA. The late and great West Coast rapper surpassed the 5 million unit mark this week, but because it is a 2-disc album, the number gets doubled, earning the classic album another plaque. [Miss Info]
