Family told TMZ that Suge is now out of surgery after being shot SIX times, reportedly. Suge is currently being held in the ICU and the latest reports say that he is expected to recover.
According to DailyMail, the suspected gunmen have been taken into police custody. The site also reports that it was actually Chris Brown who was the target of the shots fired. TMZ reports that cops are focusing on beef between gang members in the club that night, which they say triggered the shooting.

We’re told cops are interested in a common denominator with Chris Brown, Suge and Game — Bloods affiliation. Eyewitnesses tell us Brown was throwing up gang signs before the shooting inside 1OAK early Sunday and he was performing with a red bandana — the Bloods’ moniker. Game — who got in a fight outside 1OAK before the shooting because they wouldn’t let him in — is a known and proud member of the Bloods. His album is called Blood Money.

Oh, the irony!
Former CEO of Death Row Records Suge Knight was shot inside 1Oak nightclub in West Hollywood this morning, around 1:30 am. According to TMZ:
Suge Knight was shot twice and taken to the hospital by ambulance where he’s currently in surgery. He was shot in the stomach and arm.
The incident occurred at Chris Brown‘s pre-VMA party, where guests Tyson Beckford, Robert Ri’chard, and Apple de Ap claim to have heard 4 gun shots inside the club. An officer saw Suge and escorted him out of the nightclub to the police car, where he sat. An ambulance shortly came and took Suge to a local hospital.
The site reports:
We do not know the seriousness of Suge’s injuries. Multiple sources now tell us Suge was one of 3 people were were shot. At least 1 is in critical condition. Sheriff’s deputies had guns drawn as clubgoers exited with their hands in the air right after the shooting.
That’s not all. About an hour and a half before the incident occurred, L.A. rapper The Game showed up with friends and got into a heated dispute with the security guards. Game was denied entrance to the club but his friends stuck around. There is still no words as to whether or not Game was involved in the incident.
