More disturbing details have emerged surrounding Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Mama June Shannon and her new man Mark McDaniel.
According to TMZ, law enforcement officials have seen the media’s concerns about the couple, but can’t step in unless McDaniel commits a crime. The Dekalb County Sheriff’s Department has received multiple complaints from citizens who became concerned after learning of Mark’s history with the family. He served 10 years in prison after forcing Mama June’s daughter Anna to perform oral sex on him.
Law enforcement officials say McDaniel is not legally prohibited from being around June or the rest of the family – except, of course, Anna. As of right now, there has been no violation.
To make matters worse, TMZ previously reported that children’s services has assessed the situation. Unfortunately there’s nothing they can do unless they feel that the children are in grave danger.
