Well well well, look who it is – Charli XCX with yet another magazine feature.

The punk-pop star will be all over newsstands this month, making an appearance in V magazine and gracing the cover of Seventeen magazine. Today, she’s bringing her girly grunge style to another publication, this time on Nylon wearing a silver leather jacket riddled patches of all the things our childhoods were made of.

As she readies the mid-December release of Sucker, she talks to the magazine about tampons (yes, tampons), Beyoncé, and how she encourages her fans to do “whatever the f— they want.”

Keep on reading for some excerpts from her interview.

On Bey & feminism:

“I admire women like Beyoncé for putting themselves on the line and having visuals that say ‘feminism.'”

On her confidence:

“I feel very comfortable in my own skin. I’ve never stripped as a stripper, but when I was younger and playing at raves, I would take off some of my clothes — which was kind of weird because sometimes my parents would be there.”

On her fans:

“I get tampons thrown on stage as well [as bras and panties]. Not used. They’re clean, but there’s gonna be a used one at one point, and I’m ready for it.”

On self-expression:

“Everyone is encouraged to seize their own opportunities and express themselves — it’s such a time of freedom, but no one is really free. That definitely sounds like I’ve smoked a lot of weed on tour. And I have.”

At least she’s honest. The issue hits stands December 2.
