You have to love K.Dot.

Following his dope performance of “i” on Saturday Night Live last month, Kendrick Lamar follows up with another dope performance of a currently untitled song on Comedy Central’s Colbert Report.

Capturing a similar vibe as the SNL set, Kendrick enlisted the talents of highly respected soul singer Bilal, Thundercat, Anna Wise, and Terrace Martin, who played the saxophone, to serve as his backup.

Kendrick can be heard repeatedly rapping, “What the black man say?/ Tell ‘em we don’t die, we don’t die, we multiply.”

We don’t know much about the song, except that it will appear on Kendrick’s highly anticipated sophomore album. Kendrick’s good friend J. Cole, who also had a riveting performance last week, is currently number one on Billboard, selling 375k copies of 2014 Forest Hills Drive in its first week.

When K.Dot decides to drop his album, we can predict similar numbers.
