Christmas came early for J. Cole.

The 28-year-old rapper’s third studio album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200 charts. The semi-unexpected album sold 375k copies in its first week, making J. Cole the highest chart-debuting rapper of 2014.

The first week numbers for 2014 Forest Hills Drive already places the album in the top three best-selling hip-hop albums of the year.

Cole’s latest offering marks his third number one album. In 2013, J. Cole’s Born Sinner album debuted at number two right after Kanye West’s Yeezus, but went to number one its second week on the chart.

Billboard is set to confirm his top spot later today. Congrats, Cole.
