Now, this is cute.
Forget all the fuss about the very first baby born in 2015, there’s another infant whose birth made the news on Jan. 1.
Autumn Rain Stover wasn’t the first or last baby born on Thursday at the University Hospitals Macdonald Women’s Hospital in Ohio, but she was born on the same day as both her mother and father.
Yep, we’re talking about a trifecta of Happy New Year birthdays. And to think, little Autumn wasn’t even due for another 10 days.
“I knew she was coming today,” Autumn’s mother, Qiana, said, adding that her daughter’s birth was a blessing.
Originally, Autumn was due Jan. 10.
“I can look at it like, ‘I share a birthday with two beautiful women that I love so much, my daughter and my wife.’ And our daughter can look at it as … ‘I share the same birthday as my parents on New Year’s Day,’” Autumn’s father, Raheem, told Fox 8.
Just in case you were wondering, the odds of a child being born on both their mother and father’s birthday are one in 48 million. And thanks to those odds, Raheem will never forget his two leading ladies’ birthdays. Anniversaries are another story. [FOX]
And because we could use another dose of cuteness during this first full week of the New Year, we present to you the most adorable father-daughter duo ever.
In the video below, Demetrius Brown and his 2-year-old daughter Nola are having a conversation about her self-worth in the best video to hit the ‘net in 2015. Brown and Nola, sitting in her high chair, discuss how men should treat her when she gets “bigger” and becomes a “queen.”
“When you get married you’re going to find a what?” he asks her. “King,” the toddler replies. “Right, because you’re going to be a what?” he asks. “Queen!” she says.
But right now, she’s just OK being daddy’s princess.
Check out the cuteness below (including a lesson on men opening doors and protecting her honor) and stay tuned for a bonus “awww!” at the end when she pulls her little sister into the mix. [Buzzfeed]
