Anyone else wondering where Kid Cudi has been lately? Good news, we found him. He’s just kicking back with Coach.
Granted, the artist also known as Scott Mescudi has been keeping busy filming his first Sundance movie, James White, but he’s also found time to book a gig as the newest face of the heritage handbag brand, which is admittedly a surprise—albeit a good one.
He was plucked by creative director Stuart Vevers to star in the new Dreamers campaign alongside Hollywood darling Chloe Grace Moretz with intent to help Coach as it continues to rebrand.
“Chloe’s free-spirited attitude and spontaneity make her a perfect incarnation of the Coach Spring ’15 girl,” says Vevers, “While Kid Cudi’s effortless ease and coolness could not better embody the spirit of the Spring ’15 men’s collection.”
Lensed by Mikael Jansson, the campaign features Cudder in his cool-guy glory (and not in a crop top) with a slim blue briefcase and red leather backpack under his arm, while the actress models a white satchel and printed carryall.
