Bruce Jenner has been the subject of many tabloid rumors as of late, speculating whether or not the Kardashian patriarch is transitioning from a man to a woman.
Well, those rumors might finally be put to rest by none other than the former Olympian’s mother, Esther Jenner.
According to Radar Online, Esther confessed that the 65-year-old is in fact turning himself into a woman – a journey that will be captured for his family’s reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Esther tells Radar:
“I just learned about [his transition],” she told Radar exclusively. “Bruce filled me in, and we had a very long, long, long talk about it.” She continued, “I have never been more proud of Bruce for who he is, himself as a father, as an Olympian, a wonderful public speaker. He instills enthusiasm in people. He’s gifted.”
Meanwhile, news outlets have confirmed that Bruce will sit down with famed news anchor Diane Sawyer to tell his side of the story.
According to BuzzFeed:
Jenner is planning to sit down for an interview to come out as transgender and discuss transitioning. BuzzFeed News has confirmed that Diane Sawyer of ABC News was in the final stages of negotiating the interview as of last week.
Whatever the case may be, we know Bruce will always have the support of his tight-knit family.
