Big Willie Style’s been getting jiggy in the studio with Kanye West.

It’s no secret that Will Smith and Kanye West are friends, but it appears they’re expanding their friendship from traveling buddies to music partners.

While promoting his new film Focus, Will revealed he’s been in the studio with the “All Day” rapper and that Kanye’s been “gassing him” to make a return to music. During a red carpet interview with Hollywood Scoop, Will Smith revealed he recorded over a half-dozen tracks with the Yeezus rapper:

“I’ve recorded a lot. I don’t have anything I like yet, but I’ve probably recorded around seven or eight [songs]. It’s not for certain, it’s just explorative.”

It’s been over a decade since Will released any new music, but we’ve been enjoying the recent performances of his old hits like “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It” on Letterman and The Fresh Prince theme song on Ellen. He continued the nostalgic run last night on Kimmel Live! when he performed his seasonal classic “Summertime.”
