Tina Knowles and Richard Lawson held one of the most beautiful wedding ceremonies of the year two weeks ago, as they said their vows on a private yacht surrounded by family and friends in California.
Amongst those in attendance was singer Luke James, who was asked by the couple to perform their wedding song during the ceremonies, “A Song For You” by Donny Hathaway.
The R&B crooner said of the experience:
“It was an honor to sing for Miss Tina and Mr. Richard as they joined hands in marriage. A beautiful ceremony shared with family and friends. All love. All love…”.
Luke also took a photo with Richard, along with his children, while dressed in an all-white ensemble, as many of the others guests were fitted.
While we hope to see footage of the special performance from Luke in the future, we’ll have to congratulate him in the meantime.
