Michael B. Jordan will play the Human Torch in the upcoming Fantastic Four film and there are people who aren’t too happy with the idea.

The character, also known as Johnny Storm, has been a white man for 50 years, making the Fruitvale Station star the first black actor to depict him. In an essay written for EW, Jordan addresses the hate he has received on the internet:

“Sometimes you have to be the person who stands up and says, ‘I’ll be the one to shoulder all this hate. I’ll take the brunt for the next couple of generations.’ I put that responsibility on myself.”

The Full House spin-off is really happening and while the news gave us all a dose of nostalgia, a key part of one of our favorite childhood sitcoms will be missing. The Olsen twins will not appear in Fuller House when it premieres on Netflix.

Producers released the following statement on the news:

“Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family…it has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes towards Fuller House.”

There’s only one word to describe the breakup between Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo: Messy.

After three years together, the couple split, and a series of public statements, interviews and Instagram posts followed from both sides. Now, in an interview with Billboard Magazine, Derulo says his “gentlemanly” approach to the controversy is getting old.

“I do get tired of playing nice,” he tells the magazine. “Especially when people think I did something wrong, or that she broke up with me. But it’s so behind me.”

We’re glad that both sides seem to have moved on. For more, click here.
