Jimmy Carlton Winfrey has been arrested in connection with Lil Wayne’s tour bus shooting in April. As of now, Winfrey is facing charges of “aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of a firearm by a felon, and criminal gang activity.” It’s suggested that Winfrey may have been Young Thug’s road manager in the past.
Lil Wayne has yet to comment.

Lil Wayne made headlines a few weeks ago when police reported the New Orleans rapper was the target of a drive-by shooting. Lil Wayne’s tour bus was shot up by an unknown suspect back in April. Luckily no one was hurt or killed.
Come to find out, Young Thug’s road manager Jimmy Carlton Winfrey is allegedly responsible for the senseless shooting.
According to TMZ:
Atlanta PD got an arrest warrant for the suspect, Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, on May 21 … and he’s been charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of a firearm by a felon, and criminal gang activity.
We’re told by multiple sources in Atlanta that Winfrey has been Young Thug’s road manager — which is incredibly relevant since Thug’s been in a very public feud with Wayne for months.
Neither Lil Wayne or Young Thug have commented regarding this matter, but we’re hoping everyone will stop the violence.
