Meet Treasure Davis, she’s ByStorm Entertainment/RCA’s new secret weapon.
The 25-year-old singer/songwriter got her start as a background vocalist for Nicki Minaj, Keri Hilson, Kelly Price, and Keyshia Cole, but after years of being behind the scenes and penning songs for Chris Brown, Treasure’s gearing up to deliver her debut EP.
The Los Angeles native’s first offering is titled “The One.” With her unique vocal style, Treasure grapples with the idea of possibly walking away from “the one” on her mid-tempo debut.
“But I don’t want to lose you over a foolish game, why can’t I trust myself, why can’t I walk away,” sings Treasure. “I wish this obsession could be undone, but I keep wondering if you’re the one.”
Treasure’s debut EP Heart Flavored Summer will drop on June 9. In the meantime, take a listen to Treasure’s new single below.
