Meet 22-year-old singer/songwriter ZAN.

The New York City-based singer was raised by Jamaican Rastafarian parents in Florida, but it wasn’t until he moved to New York City to aid his ailing father that ZAN began to take music seriously.

Inspired by his father, who was the lead singer of reggae band The Visionaries, ZAN began working with KeithCharles SPACEBAR of Awful Records and even appeared on his We’re All a Little Triflin’ project.

Fast forward, and ZAN releases his debut single “Blending,” which features a dope sample of ’90s R&B singer Jon B’s “They Don’t Know.”

“Please give me more of it, give me some more of it/ I over love it, I over love it/ listen to me, baby girl, listen to me/ actions speak louder than words I want your body speaking to me…while I’m stirring and blending,” ZAN croons.

ZAN is currently readying his forthcoming debut project. Check him out down under.
