Fantastic Four didn’t fare so well at the box office in its opening weekend, reeling in $26.2 million and coming in second to Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, which pulled in $29.4 million in its second weekend. New York Times‘ Film Critic A.O. Scott said, “‘Fantastic Four,’ despite the dogged efforts of its talented young cast, has nothing.” Ouch. See it at your own risk, as it’s in theaters everywhere now.

Warner Bro‘s execs got a preview of Ben Affleck‘s Batman and liked what they saw—so much so, they’re requesting more Batman standalone films featuring Affleck, according to Games Radar.

Per Games Radar:

Affleck is currently signed up for one solo film that he will also direct and co-write with Geoff Johns. If this report is true, Warner now plans to produce three films in total and reconfigure its future slate around the “definitive Batman.”

The new installment of the epic films, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, is set for a December 18th release date. The movie snagged J.J. Abrams in the director’s chair, in addition to original stars Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Kenny Baker (R2-D2), and Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca). Though at first hesitant, Bill Murray will appear in Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot, confirming that he will have appeared in all three Ghostbusters movies.

Per The Hollywood Reporter:

The actor, who played Dr. Peter Venkman in Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters II (1989), will appear in director Paul Feig’s upcoming installment of the franchise, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Murray has long been resistant to star in a third Ghostbusters. He told David Letterman earlier this year that his hesitancy stems from Ghostbusters II not having been as well-received as the first one.

Catch the film in theaters July 22, 2016.

HBO released a trailer for its new series Westworld, which will hit the network in 2016. As astute YouTube commenter Nadheeran’s Deep Space said, “Created by Jonathan Nolan, Starring Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood etc…. Sign me the f*ck up.” We agree. Watch the creepy trailer above.
