Kylie Jenner‘s 18th birthday celebration has gotten just as much attention on social media as Donald Trump’s increasing popularity in the presidential election…which is kind of hilarious and also kind of terrifying.
August 10th was a big day for the youngest Jenner sister, as it marked the day she could officially get a tattoo, buy a lottery ticket, and date her 25-year-old boyfriend Tyga without breaking the law. As expected, all of Kylie’s sisters and both of her parents came in clutch with some birthday love on Instagram and Twitter, because if you don’t post on social media for someone’s birthday, did it even really happen?
Kim Kardashian, of course, took the sentimental birthday post route, sharing a photo of Kylie on Twitter and admiring the young reality star for her perseverance and drive.
We suspect the underlying message of that tweet was, “love you so much, but please stop stealing my look and hijacking my wardrobe.” Khloe Kardashian also gave Kylie some Twitter attention, posting a photo collage dedicated to “one of her best friends and greatest loves of her life.”
Way to keep it simple and straight to the point, Khlo. Kourtney Kardashian, on the other hand, sort of shouted out Kylie. She posted a photo on Instagram and Twitter of her “Kylie Jenner birthday vibes,” showcasing her own b-day outfit for the occasion “times three.” Does that count as a H18BD post? We’re not sure…
We’re guessing Kylie and Kendall Jenner did plenty of celebrating together, and unsurprisingly, Kendall was not too showy about her sister’s big birthday on social media at all. Then again, Kendall has always been one to stray away from the typical “Kardashian” ways. She did, however, remind followers of her and Kylie’s new PacSun line, coming our way on August 14th. If it’s anything like their recent Topshop line, it’s bound to be killer.

Kris Jenner also joined the conversation… shocking, we know. She posted a photo of baby Kylie from way back when, and a very lengthy caption that basically called Kylie every positive adjective in the English dictionary. Not a surprise necessarily, but interesting considering she and Kylie have had a complicated relationship in the past, to say the least.
And then there’s Caitlyn Jenner, who’s always been close with Kylie. Cait made sure to show Kylie some b-day love with a short and sweet post, sharing a photo of the official 18-year-old youthfully grinning before delving into a massive birthday cake. The caption read “happy birthday,” but the photo read “we all grow up, but only a little.”
And to conclude, Tyga showed us the complete opposite side of Kylie…who just turned 18 but looks, in this photo, like she could easily be 30.

If this was social media’s reaction to KJ’s 18th, we can only assume the internet is going to explode when the girl turns 21. Luckily, we have three more years to update technology, prepare the troops, and wait for the day to arrive. In the meantime, happy birthday, Kylie…now you can donate blood!
