A man linked to the disappearance of Rosie O’ Donnell‘s 17-year-old daughter has officially been charged.
Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato says his office was given permission by Rosie to check her daughter’s cellphone. He says that on the phone there was “evidence of inappropriate communications over the last several weeks between Sheerer and the minor.”
Sheerer was arrested last night at his home in Barnegat, New Jersey. He was charged with third degree endangering the welfare of a child and third degree distribution of obscenity to a minor. Sheerer’s computer was also confiscated.
If found guilty, Sheerer could be facing up to 5 years in prison. Fortunately, Chelsea is back home safe with her mother at this time.
