King Louie’s lucky to be alive.
Just two days before Christmas, King Louie found himself the victim of gun violence when someone fired 22 shots at his car on the southwest side of Chicago. The “Drilluminati 3” rapper was shot a whopping seven times, including an almost fatal gunshot wound to the head.
Less than 24 hours after being released from the hospital, Louie appeared on CNN to speak out against gun violence plaguing his hometown.
Surprisingly, Louie said he still has three bullets inside of him. “Three of the slugs are still with me today, two in my chest and one in my head,” King Louie said.
When asked if there’s hope for Chicago, he continued, “I think there’s hope for Chicago and like I said before, prayer…We have to be strong and pray for our city and the right people have to do the right things.”
We’re glad Louie survived this horrific shooting and we’re hoping he can recover – physically and mentally.
