After rumors surfaced of Beyoncé‘s involvement in a film about Saartjie Baartman, her rep decided to clear the air. The star’s rep confirmed to Billboard that the Grammy-award winning artist will not be a part of the writing team for the upcoming Saartjie Baartman film. Her rep told the publication, “Beyonce is in no way tied to this project.” Her rep went on the add, “This is an important story that should be told, however.” [Billboard]

MMA star Ronda Rousey is set to host the popular Saturday night comedy show, SNL. The show announced on Tuesday the fighter will be hosting for the first time ever and will occupied by fellow first timer Selena Gomez. [EW]

Superstar singer/producer Justin Timberlake will be producing the upcoming Dreamworks Animation film, Trolls. Not only will Justin be producing original music for the film, he will also be voicing one of the characters for the film. Justin told THR, “I have always envisioned bringing the two worlds of film and music together for one epic event [and] couldn’t be more excited that they will collide in DreamWorks’ Trolls.” [Revolt]

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been killing it in the entertainment industry lately. The wrestler-turned-actor recently landed a script deal with Fox. The show, which will be based of the Fast and Furious franchise will be called Boost Unit. The Rock posted an announcement on Instagram saying,
