Watch out, Kylie.
Caitlyn Jenner has just been unveiled as the new face of MAC Cosmetics, marking the first time a transgender star has scored a major beauty contract. According to Page Six, the deal is thought to be worth seven figures.
The first release from the collaboration will be a rosy, nude lipstick named Finally Free. “I wanted a name that I use, and which represents the community. This is who I am: Finally Free,” Caitlyn explained. In an interview on MAC’s website, the reality star and former Olympian shared her excitement on the deal, saying:
“And honestly, my ultimate fantasy — I never thought in a million years that it would ever happen — was to get involved with a makeup company. When you’re going through all of this, that’s just like never going to happen, but wouldn’t it be something to be involved in a project like that? Boy, watch out what you wish for, because it came true.”
Finally Finally will be available for purchase in April. Proceeds will benefit the MAC Aids Fund Transgender Initiative. Congrats, Cait!
