The Daily Grind Video

Let’s be real: when “Formation” dropped, we all devised our own personal dance routines.

One such routine is definitely more sophisticated than our own and has even gotten the seal of approval from Beyonce herself. Posted by Syncopated Ladies, the video shows five, denim-clad women performing a tap routine to the Queen’s latest single.

The dance incorporates elements from Bey’s past hits, including the iconic “Single Ladies” choreography. The clip has garnered five million views and a Facebook share from Beyonce. Maud Arnold, who choreographed the dance with her sister, Chloe, spoke to Huffington Post about their admiration for Beyonce:

“She holds her sisters up, she inspires others, she loves being a black woman and she embraces it. And it’s really important for us to express that, too.”

Watch the ladies get in formation for the slayage up top.
