While the tributes pour in for the late Phife Dawg, A Tribe Called Quest fans will be deep in the crates celebrating the group’s extraordinary collective.

Tribe’s flows and jazz sensibilities set them apart in rap’s ’90s adolescence, and stands solidly alongside hip-hop’s best discographies, past and present. The impact of “Electric Relaxation” on New York hip-hop, and the autopilot head nod “Award Tour” induces, makes Tribe more of a movement than any other group before them. Most recently, ATCQ was honored on a 25th anniversary album, People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm, with the likes of J. Cole and Pharrell Williams. The music is just that timeless.

For those who are new to Phife and co. today, or for those who were introduced to the legendary group decades before, stream Spotify’s collection below at your desk in appreciation.

RIP to the Five Foot Assassin, Phife.
