In support of his In My Mind LP, BJ The Chicago Kid releases the visuals to his ballad “The New Cupid” featuring Kendrick Lamar.
The Matt Barnes-directed video features BJ strolling around his picturesque suburban neighborhood singing about love. Comedian Hannibal Buress also makes a cameo as “cupid” himself.
BJ’s video happens to be the second we’ve seen K.Dot appear in today. This morning, Funkadelic released their Kendrick Lamar and Ice Cube-assisted visuals. And when BJ came to New York City a few weeks back, we sat down with the Chicago crooner to discuss his relationship with TDE and received a health update on Jay Rock, who was severely injured in a motorcycle accident in February.
