Well deserved.

Allen Iverson has been elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the 2016 induction class. Following Monday morning’s announcement, social media exploded with congratulatory messages for the NBA legend.

There’s no doubt that A.I. is one-of-a-kind. He averaged 26.7 points per game throughout his career and led the Philadelphia 76ers to the finals in 2001. It’s about time he was honored with a slot in the HOF.

Also included in the 2016 class are Shaquille O’Neal, Sheryl Swoopes, Yao Ming, and Tom Izzo.
