Soulja Boy can consider himself one of the luckiest people of the year.
The rapper, who was arrested last week for violating his probation and having a gun, is now a fully free man. According to reports, all charges from Soulja’s recent arrest were officially dropped on Tuesday. He released a statements, saying, “I am looking forward to focusing back on the music and new business for 2017.”
But will the rapper’s lucky break make him change his “social media thug” ways? Judging by what he posted on social media after getting out of jail, maybe the Crank That creator has no intention to change. He took to Twitter after his release to say, “Fuck quavo, Lil yachty, and Nia Riley. I ain’t going no where. Quavo called the police on me. Finna go fuck my Bitch. Damn I hate jail I don’t ever wanna go back.”
Lil Yachty clapped by mocking the Soulja’s arrest by tweeting:
Despite all of the drama, Soulja Boy says that he’s in the studio working on new music for the new year. Will you be listening?
