Faizon Love is finally opening up about what caused his vicious Columbus airport attack that was caught on camera.

The actor told TMZ that he went ballistic on a valet because the guy spit and threatened to get violent before Faizon attacked — which is why he’s not apologizing. Love says that he was pissed about a $1,000 charge for long-term parking at Columbus airport, but says it was the valet who started talking trash first, threatening to put hands on Faizon. He added that his breaking point came when he turned his back, and heard the valet clear his throat to spit. Watch the video below.

On Wednesday in Franklin County Municipal Court, Faizon pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge and was released from jail on $2,000 bond.
