Killer Mike shocked a few fans and caught major heat for his response to comedian Bill Maher using the n-word during a joke on his HBO show. On Friday’s episode of Real Time With Bill Maher, Maher was interviewing Nebraska Republican Sen. Ben Sasse, when he jokingly referred to himself as a “house nig***.”
After stars like Chance the Rapper spoke out against the host’s comments (asking HBO to cancel his show), many people wanted to know what the usually sensible Killer Mike had to say about controversial comment. Mike, who is friend’s with Maher and has appeared on the show before, defended the hosts, tweeting:
