So Vivica A. Fox is allegedly out here stealing male strippers, says her ex-business partner Jean-Claude LaMarre.
LaMarre has filed a lawsuit against Fox because he says she ruined his male stripper revue, which was appropriately titled Black Magic. According to him, she dragged his brand through the mud and even tried to take some of his talent for her own use.
LaMarre said his partnership with Fox went sour when she appeared on The Breakfast Club radio show and said “Black Magic” guys don’t strip for gay men. She received some backlash from the LGBTQ community and LaMarre said Fox got upset with him when he distanced himself from her.
According to lawsuit documents, Fox began plotting her own male revue, even recruiting four “Black Magic” dancers in the process. She allegedly spoke bad of LaMarre to convince the dancer to join her new efforts.
The suit continues that Vivica actively tried to sabotage promotions for LaMarre’s show by calling it a “fake,” and persuading her fans to avoid “Black Magic.”
Fox has yet to comment on LaMarre’s lawsuit, but it looks like this could get ugly. We’ll keep you updated as more news surfaces.
