On Working With Fellow DMV Artists

[Wale] is underrated. Any song that he get on, he crushes. And Brent [Fiyaz}. Brent is tight. He’s a cool a** n****.

On Advice For Aspiring Artists

I would say just focus on the music. People be trying to think about PR, the shows, interviews. At the end of the day, it’s all about the quality of your music. Then we you drop music, you gotta consistently drop more good music. Just like feeding a baby — you’re not just gonna them one spoon full and stop feeding him. He’s gonna ask for some more, so you gotta keep feeding the baby til’ he’s full.

All that other s*** will come. People will come to you with the resources as long as you focus on the quality of the music.

Old Bay Seasoning or Mumbo Sauce?

That’s EASY! Mumbo Sauce.  That joint is fire.

Baltimore Club Music or GoGo Music?

Gogo! Club Music is fire though. Like Chance The Rapper had a couple of club songs on Acid Rap and mixed it with like a trap, juke, soulful blend. That s*** is amazing. He could’ve made his own genre of rap music.

Ocean City Beach or Virginia Beach?
