Today (April 28), Diamond-certified recording artist, 3x Grammy-nominated, humanitarian, and entrepreneur French Montana officially announced his highly anticipated upcoming film FOR KHADIJA (For His Mother Khadija) set to premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival on June 16th.

Directed by Mandon Lovett, and executive produced by Aubrey “Drake” Graham and Sean “Diddy” Combs, the film will showcase the sacrifices made by an immigrant mother to create a better life for her family by leaving her home country and working multiple jobs to provide for her three sons. The premiere will let viewers into the story of Montana’s life, his family and upbringing, immigration journey, and hurdles he overcame in the music industry. Alongside the premiere, there will be a moderated panel discussion inclusive of hip-hop heavyweights, social justice advocates, and pop culture icons. After the film, there will be exclusive performances from French Montana, Triplets Ghetto Kids, and other special guests.

Recently, Montana officially became the most streamed African Artist in history, a massive milestone in his already successful career. He also released Coke Boys 6: Money Heist Edition, the sixth tape in the Coke Boys series, which debuted #1 and #3 on iTunes Top Albums and #2 on Spotify’s Top Album Debuts in the US. Upon release, CB6: Money Heist Edition debuted #1 and #3 on iTunes Top Albums and #2 on Spotify’s Top Album Debuts in the US. The album also reached #1 selling R&B/Hip-Hop album of the week, and #1 selling independent album of the week during its debut week.
