On Sunday (November 5th), during FOX Sports America’s Game of the Week featuring the Philadelphia Eagles v Dallas Cowboys, Netflix debuted the official trailer for Lift, starring Kevin Hart. Click inside to check it out!

In the comedy film, the stakes couldn’t be any higher for an international heist crew led by Cyrus Whitaker (Hart). To avoid facing identity fraud, money laundering and transportation of stolen property charges, the group of thieves must race to lift $500 million in gold from a passenger plane at 40,000 feet.

Alongside Hart, Lift stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Black Mirror, The Morning Show, Loki), Vincent D’Onofrio (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Jurassic World, Godfather of Harlem),  Úrsula Corberó (Money Heist, Snake Eyes), Billy Magnussen (Game Night, The Many Saints of Newark), Jacob Batalon (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home), with Jean Reno (Mission: Impossible, The Pink Panther) and Sam Worthington (Avatar, Clash of the Titans, Wrath of the Titans). Additional cast includes Viveik Kalra, Yun Jee Kim, Burn Gorman, Paul Anderson.

The film was written by Daniel Kunka and directed by F. Gary Gray (Friday, Set It Off, Law Abiding Citizen, Straight Outta Compton, The Fate of the Furious). Kevin Hart and Bryan Smiley served as producers for Hartbeart; Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon for Kinberg Genre Films and Matt Reeves and Adam Kassan for 6th & Idaho Motion Picture Company. In addition to his directing duties, F. Gary Gray also was an executive producer for the film with Brent O’Connor and Patricia Braga.

After being postponed due to the impact of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, Lift is set to be released on Netflix January 12, 2024. Check out the action-packed trailer below and share your thoughts in the comments!
