Alex Rodriguez may be on the disabled list, but his pockets are still very active.

The 37-year-old third baseman for the New York Yankees is looking to unload his mega two-story Miami mansion for a whopping $38 million. Up $10 million from the $28 million that he paid, the waterfront property features nine bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a home theater, a heated pool, steam room, gym, rooftop deck, an elevator and a 3,000 square-foot sports room complete with a batting cage. Why wouldn’t he have a batting cage?

The space measures in at a lavish 20,000-square-foot property that A-Rod actually bought after his divorce from Cynthia Curtis, and it also comes with 12-foot glass windows that open onto the bay. Maybe the Windex budget was the “straw that broke the camel’s back,” but whatever it was, Alex is getting rid of it.

According to South Florida real estate brokers, while the overall market is unstable, deep-pocketed buyers with an eye for high-end properties will likely jump on the opportunity to snap up the trendy mega-mansion.
