Amber Rose had a really good pregnancy, but at nearly 38 weeks, her midwives noticed something peculiar about Amber’s belly that they hadn’t before.

At the time, her unborn child was breeched, meaning that his toes would be delivered first instead of his head. Originally planning to have an at-home natural water birth, this was serious news for the star and her baby daddy Wiz Khalifa

Amber opened up to Ricki Lake this morning:

“They tried to turn my baby around by doing really hard pelvic massages, I tried mug wart, acupuncture, and my last result was inversion, which is when you go to the hospital and they manually try to turn your baby. They push his head down and push his butt up. It hurt a lot. It was very painful and at that point after I tried everything, I was like I just want my baby. If I have to have a C-Section, fine. I told Wiz, if we go to the hospital and my baby turns around, I’m going back home.”

Amber wasn’t the only person going through it – baby Bash’s father was also pretty shaken up about finding out his little boy was in the wrong position.

During the interview, he said:

“When I found out that he was breeched, it made me feel nervous at first because you don’t want to hear anything bad about a pregnancy. You want it to go how you plan it. Of course it wasn’t with the plan of how we wanted it to happen but as mentally prepared as we were for the water birth we had to get as prepared for the c-section.”

As for what happened when she went in? It all turned out fine:

“When I went in I was terrified, like shaking I was so scared. Then, when Wiz came in he just talked to me the whole time and then all of a sudden we heard Sebastian cry and then we both started crying like, ‘Oh my God!! Our baby is here.’”

Wow, who knew?!

Amber told Ricki Lake that the part she really “missed out on” was bonding with her little boy because she wasn’t able to pull Bash out herself like she’d always wanted to.
