Jay-Z has opened the Barclays Center with a bang. The King of Hip-Hop took the stage on Friday night in Brooklyn to a sold-out crowd all repping for their favorite MC. Of course, Jay rocked the Brooklyn Nets jersey and a matching Brooklyn Nets hat.

DETAILS: Jay-Z Answers Beyonce Pregnancy Questions

Rumors are flying about who Jay will bring onstage, however he told Rolling Stone Magazine that he wouldn’t have any special guests, even though his girl, Rihanna was rockin the pj’s at the opening of 40/40 the night before.

Beyonce was on the sidelines and while we’re not sure if Blue Ivy was backstage, Jay definitely made the building shake when he brought out Biggie Smalls as a hi-tech video (earlier reported as a hologram, but word from folks inside is that it was just a hi-tech video — our apologies for getting over-hyped about people saying it was a hologram). Word from our girl Miss Info is that stage cost a whopping $400,000!

Hov dropped a special gift on his first night’s guests, debuting a new verse as he opened the show.

Off the dome, he raps:

“This is Rich Porter, part two. You can stunt like that when you rich before your debut. Money and the murder, rapper or the trapper…either way I’m gone serve you. Shooters on my team, NO REALLY I GOT SHOOTERS on my team….Juan or Deron, how you ni**as want it? pick a arm, they call me Lucky Lefty. Ball so hard I don’t respect the fu***ng referees.”

It looks like we’re in store for 7 more off the chain nights! Check out Jigga’s freestyle, more performance clips below and Queen Bey supporting her hubby in the accompanying gallery!

If you were in the building, be sure to to tweet us more photos! We want to see Biggie up-close.
