It’s a phrase that we’ve heard for years. And last night’s showcase in L.A. proved why it just might be the truth.

Four of the hottest rappers in, not only the West, but the entire rap game, showed up at adidas Original and MMXLII’s Respect the West showcase last night. Kendrick Lamar, Dom Kennedy, YG and Casey Veggies all could be seen tearing the house down, with each individual rapper getting a chance to perform.

As you can see from the footage above, it looks like a crazy time was had by all.
The Respect the West showcase was a show that debuted two years ago in Austin, Texas. The showcase has been known to display some of the best talent out of the westside and in the past has featured artists like Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, Jay Rock, Mista F.A.B. and DJ Quick.
