It’s almost officially summer summer summertime, and Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff have remixed their seasonal classic 21 years later.

Will Smith kicks off the new track with the same classic intro, but switches it up by noting, “Here it is the groove slightly transformed.”
The groove is slightly transformed, but the most noticeable difference is Will Smith’s voice. Two decades later, Will’s voice is filled with much more bass and definitely smoother than it was in 1991.

The remix is off Jazzy Jeff and Mike Boogie’s new mixtape Summertime 3. The “Summertime (Remix)” will be available for download Monday, June 11.
