First Lady Michelle Obama was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to discuss the President’s impromptu singing! Obama belted it out last month while speaking at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY.

Mrs. O revealed that Barack loves to serenade her by singing songs by Al Green, Marvin Gaye and other R&B greats.
Ms. Obama told Leno that:
“He does have a beautiful voice, and he sings to me all the time, but he also sings Marvin Gaye and even a little Stevie. That’s Stevie Wonder, for the uninitiated. He likes the classics.”
Coincidentally, Republican Presidential front-runner Mitt Romney was in Florida and sang an off-key rendition of “America the Beautiful” on Monday.
Leno asked her opinion on Mitt’s singing skills, to which she said, “It’s beautiful and it is America’s song, and it’s a song that’s meant to be sung by every American.”
