According to the al.com, Tuscaloosa Police Chief Steve Anderson said that the gunman fired first through a window, then shot at people outside as they fled the bar. The gunman never went inside the bar during the shooting.

Hospital spokesman Brad Fisher said 17 people were being treated at DCH Regional Medical Center. Police also released surveillance footage of the suspect and posted the video of the suspect on its Facebook page.

Four of the victims have been admitted to the hospital, and two of them were receiving critical care, Fisher said. It wasn’t immediately known whether all the injuries were from gunfire, he said.

Police were still searching for a suspect and released surveillance video of a man they called the suspect.

Anyone with information on the suspect can contact Crime Stoppers at 205-752-STOP.
