The U.S. has deployed stealth fighter jets to South Korea as part of an ongoing military exercise between the two countries. The F-22 Raptors were sent to the main U.S. Air Force Base in South Korea despite tensions on the Korean peninsula. The U.S. military command in South Korea said they were deployed to support air drills as part of the annual Foal Eagle training exercises, which are carried out in accordance with the armistice that put an end to armed hostilities in 1953. Seriously dude? A man in a large red sedan hit two cars in a San Jose Wal-Mart parking lot before driving the vehicle through the store and assaulting customers inside. The Oldsmobile Cutlass crashed into the storefront near the pharmacy and the driver got out and injured four people with a blunt object, police say. [MercuryNews]

The Klansman who apologized for his racist past and his attack on Georgia Rep. John Lewis some 50 years ago has passed away. Elwin Wilson, 76, died Thursday at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The cause of his death is not immediately clear. [CNN]
